Terms of Service
Effective 9 September 2026
1. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. You may register with an email and password or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@dgverse.in if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Issue, present, or rely on credentials you know to be false, or impersonate another person, organization, or agent.
- Attempt to bypass authorization policies, forge audit records, or otherwise defeat the integrity guarantees the Service exists to provide.
- Probe, scan, or load-test the Service without our prior written consent, or interfere with its availability for others.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or provide the hosted Service to third parties except as your plan expressly permits.
- Use the Service to break the law, infringe intellectual property, or violate anyone's privacy rights.
3. Your content and data
You retain all rights to the data you submit — agent records, issuer keys, credentials, policies, and audit entries. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, and transmit that data to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for having the rights and lawful basis to submit it, and for the accuracy of any claim you attest to in a credential you issue.
4. Our intellectual property
The Service, the HelixID and DgVerse names and marks, and the site content are ours or our licensors’. Nothing in these terms transfers them to you. Components released under Apache 2.0 remain governed by that licence.
5. Fees
Free tiers are provided as-is and may change or end at any time. Paid plans are billed as stated at purchase or in your order form. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Unless your contract says otherwise, fees are non-refundable for the period already served.
6. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the hosted Service is provided without a service-level commitment unless one is set out in a signed enterprise agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paid plans.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties including Google Sign-In and, where you enable it, distributed-ledger anchoring. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if required by law — with notice where we reasonably can give it. On termination your right to use the hosted Service ends; data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer
Except where expressly stated in a signed agreement, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. HelixID provides identity and authorization infrastructure; it does not guarantee the truth of any claim a third-party issuer makes, and you remain responsible for your own trust decisions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Dgverse Infotech LLP harmless from third-party claims arising out of your data, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or credentials you issue through it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and we will notify account holders by email of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
